Vehicle recovery is an inevitable part of 4WDriving. It can be a very dangerous process and requires the use of engineered, purpose built equipment to ensure your safety and to minimise vehicle damage. Every four wheel drive should carry at least the minimum gear required to perform a safe snatch recovery in conjunction with another vehicle.

4x4 Equip offers a high quality recovery kit specifically for this very purpose. The 4x4 Equip Basic Recovery Kit 10,000kg is suitable for use on heavier four wheel drive vehicles fitted with rated recovery points and consists of:

1x 10,000kg Snatch Strap. (Part No IDH-33-2, high quality, Australian made)

2x Bow Shackles rated to 4.7 Tonne each. (Part No IDH-33-6) 

1x Carry Bag. (Part No IDH-22-8, manufactured from tough, hard wearing material and reinforced internally for durability. There are no plastic buckles to break and the carry handle continues right around the bag to provide strong support. This recovery bag doubles as a snatch or winch dampener for added safety when performing a vehicle recovery.) 

1x Pair work gloves.

Each component of this basic Recovery Kit is also available as a separate item. This allows you to add to your recovery kit or replace damaged or worn components as necessary.
